WMS training videos

OCLC provides a variety of basic training videos to get acquainted with WMS Circulation.

Please use these for both basic and refresher training.

What is WMS?

WMS is a program used by the Circulation Desk that allows:

  • Checkout/Check in
  • Item record search
  • Reserve Desk class creation

 

Renewal of Library Items

Library items can be renewed in the following ways, provided that the item is not already overdue:

  1. By visiting the Library Circulation Desk in person

  2. Online, by going to your Library Account and logging in. This will display all of the items that you currently have checked out.

  3. Place a checkmark in the box that appears before each item that you wish to renew.

  4. Click on the "Renew" box.

  5. Check to be sure that the item has actually been renewed.

It is important to remember that you may renew checked out items this way only ONE TIME.   All subsequent renewals must be handled in-person at the Library Circulation Desk.

 

Confidentiality Agreement for Student Workers

The Confidentiality Agreement must be signed every year to ensure that any Patron's information is protected when the student workers are using WMS.
