Discussion of the ethical concerns and limitations of Generative AI (LLMs like ChatGPT and CoPilot) as well as potential ethical uses of GenAI as a writing tool (as a thought partner, not as a substitute for a student's own critical thinking). We'll also discuss the importance of evaluating AI outputs and citing/disclosing GenAI use.
