Library Rooms: Campus Entrance- 1st Floor

First Floor

Welcome to the first floor of the Library! This is the floor you enter the Library on, and there is always a circulation desk assistant ready to help when you walk in. The first floor contains multiple study areas for all kinds of students, along with the Andrew Bodenrader Center for Academic Writing and Composition and the Center for Student Accessibility.

The Andrew Bodenrader Center for Academic Writing and Composition

When you walk in the front door, turn left past the circulation desk and go through the open doorway. Turn right, and you will see the Writing Center.

Center for Student Accessibility

When you walk in the front door, turn left past the circulation desk and go through the open doorway. Turn right and walk through the Writing Center. Continue down the hall to the dead end, and the CSA door will be on your left.

Main Lobby/Reference Area

When you enter the front door, you are in the main lobby. A student worker will be on the left, and the desktops and printers are on the opposite wall. The reference librarian will be behind behind the desk, and is available based on this schedule.

Quiet Room

When you enter the front door, turn right and go through the double doors. Walk through the Cafe, and the Quiet Room will be on your left.

Group Study Room (105)

When you enter the front door, turn right and go through the double doors. Walk through the Cafe, and the Group Study Room (Room 105) will be on your right.

Café/Lounge

When you enter the front door, turn right and go through the double doors.

Study Carrels

When you enter the front door, continue walking straight toward the double doors. When you enter the stacks, walk straight, around the staircase, to the back wall. The study carrels will be along that wall.

Conference Room (117)

When you enter the front door, turn left at the circulation desk. Walk through the archway and turn left at the color printer. The conference room will be directly in front of you.

Notice: The conference room can be reserved for classes. Always double check the schedule on the wall to the left of the door before entering.

Room 118 (ARC)

Available: Outlets, Whiteboards

When you enter the front door, turn left at the circulation desk. Walk through the two doorways and turn left down the skinny hallway. The ARC/Room 118 will be directly in front of you.

Notice: Students can reserve this room for group study.
