Summer 2025: Top 6 Things That You Need to Know About the Library

Top 6 Things that You Need to Know About the Manhattanville Library:

  • Library Renovation on the Main Floor of the Library (Summer 2025)

  • Get help from a Librarian using virtual chat with a Manhattanville librarian in real time, visit the library for in-person assistance, or schedule a research appointment with a Librarian (The Library is here to help!)

  • Variety of Study Spaces for Solo and Group Work (Some study spaces can be reserved online for up to 2 hours)

  • Students are able to print from their laptops (Library Staff will be happy to provide instructions)

  • Stress Relief with Bosco on Wednesdays (emotional support dog)

  • Library Workshops-Librarians visit every College Writing course in the Fall and Spring semester

Asking for Help

There are many ways to get help at the library.

When you are in the Library:

  • Visit the Service Desk to speak with a Librarian, borrow materials, or get directions during our regularly scheduled hours.

If you are not in the Library, but you still need help, there are several ways that you can contact us.

  • By email at reference@mville.edu
  • By texting us at (914) 288-6288
  • By submitting a question to our Ask Us service 
  • By scheduling a Research Appointment with a librarian to set up an appointment to work individually on your research assignment or citations
  • By going to the Library homepage and Chat with Us via text or video in real time with a reference librarian during service hours or use our Chat Bot when librarians are not available.
