Elizabeth McCormack entered Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart in 1940 and graduated in 1944. She then earned a Masters of Arts in Religious Education from Providence College in 1957, and completed her PhD in Philosophy from Fordham in 1966, the same year she became the President of Manhattanville.
